They try to post-pone updates as long as possible, until they wake up in the morning to find that there computer has updated itself. This can be frustrating as data is moved around and the system changes are unknown to you. There is one simple task you can do to avoid Windows 10.
Simply, go the control panel. Once on the control panel,go to windows updates. Then select turn off automatic updates. This will stop Windows from automatically updating to the newest format. If you decide to update Windows 10 later, you will be able to control if and when you would like this to occur.

It is also recommended that you keep your password written down somewhere other than on your computer. If your computer is to crash (which will happen at some point) you will need access to the data stored. If your password is not recovered by your memory, your data could be lost for good. Keeping your passwords written down outside of your computer is also a good way to keep hackers or spyware from recovering your data too.
